The threatened fence from bridge to the sea floor in False Creek is not there. Under the Cambie bridge there are half a dozen long sausage like black rubber bladders strung across the waterway. On them a few signs with really small printing. Also tied up was an RCMP RIB with some navy and RCMP members on it. Even though they were tied up to the barrier, they had both gas motors running! As we got close enough to read the sign, the RCMP on board came out and yelled at us to stay away 50 meters. We suggested he up the font size on his warning signs as the encourage boaters to come close enough to read them. BTW, they mention nothing about 50m keep away. I guess the police had to look like they knew what they were doing there. I suggest, next time boys, read the sign yourself, before you start to try enforce it. You might have a different approach.
